San Gabriel Mountains Regional Conservancy is dedicated to “connecting mountains, urban creeks and watershed of the upper San Gabriel River” in Southern California. In 2003 they needed a new logo as well as a site that communicated this important mission.
The Approach
We developed a “purple mountains majesty” logo which stands out nicely amongst more commonly colored green logos popular among “green” organizations and a website featuring beautiful photos from the region along with an easy-to-navigate, updatable interface.
The Result
It’s 2012 and sgmrc.org is still active and growing, providing timely information about SGMRC’s current events, community outreach, mission, and how to support this valuable non-profit organization. [view site]
